Everyone has their own classic jaffle recipe, for me it was always Ham and cheese. My dad always used to buy a christmas ham close to Christmas and we would pile our plates with fresh off the bone ham. My dad always seemed to have 4 staples in the cupboard, white bread, ham, butter and the all important LARGE block of tasty cheese. everything you need for a classic jaffle.

i think it is safe to say that i got my love of jaffles from my dad, a love that never went away.

I inherited my jaffle maker from my dad when i first moved out of home and since introducing Robin to the jaffle maker we have never looked back and our love of food has led us to want to experiment further with flavour.

Our First Jaffle is a mixture of my classic with a little bit of spice which robin and i share a love of

To make the Trobin you will need the following ingredients

2 slices of white sandwich bread

Butter

4 Slices of Tasty Cheese

Ham off the bone

Jalepenos

Building your Trobin

Heat up your Jaffle Maker

Genorously butter each slice of bread

Place one slice of buttered bread downside on the hot Jaffle maker

Place cheese onto the bread

Place Ham on top of the cheese

Place 4-5 Jalepeno slices ( or extra if you like it hot)

Place the second slice of bread butter side up on top of the filling ( this will give your bread a lovely golden brown colour)

Close the jaffle and cook until golden brown

this jaffle is great with with a splash of green tobasco sauce.
